Services

We provide independent analysis, quality control, and technical review of wind turbine blade inspection data to help asset owners and service providers make better-informed maintenance decisions.

Raw Inspection Data Analysis

We provide independent technical analysis of pre-captured external and internal visual blade inspection data. We review inspection imagery to identify, classify, and assess blade defects based on their characteristics, location, and potential significance. Our analysis can be performed on data from drones, rope-access inspections, crawlers, or other visual inspection methods. We work with customer-provided inspection data and adapt to different data formats, structures, and storage platforms. The result is a structured technical assessment that helps support maintenance planning, repair decisions, and long-term asset management.t.

Independent QC & Report Re-evaluation

We independently review existing inspection data and completed analysis reports to verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reported findings. Our review can identify missed defects, incorrect classifications, inconsistent severity assessments, and discrepancies between the inspection data and final results. Even well-established inspection processes and automated analysis tools cannot guarantee 100% defect detection. An independent second review provides an additional quality layer, helping validate inspection results and reduce the risk of incorrect decisions before repairs, further inspections, or major maintenance activities are planned.

Blade Defect Insights & Recommendations

We provide technical interpretation and recommendations for specific blade defects identified through inspection data or existing inspection reports. We assess the available evidence to help understand the nature and potential significance of a defect, and where appropriate, consider possible causes, risks, and recommended next steps. Additional inspection information or supporting data can be reviewed when needed to strengthen the assessment. This service is particularly useful when a finding requires deeper technical interpretation before deciding whether further inspection, monitoring, repair, or other action should be considered.
